bonARTE Events & Creations - Art Series Production: ARTalk

ARTalk Series Season Premiere “Honoring Our Roots”, hosted by Eishamarie Rivera known for her work on television network Telemundo-Orlando in collaboration with Art Company bonARTE Events & Creations, is open for artists' submissions. ARTalk was born from a collaboration between ART and TELEVISION to positively impact the artist community and create a guide to success within the art market. Artists are invited to submit their unique stories & artwork to our Call for artists for the ARTalk Series Season Premiere. We will be selecting a group of artists that are actively working on their art careers and can serve as an example of pursuing their roots as artists to showcase their stories through a short film format production. The stories selected will be part of the script for the art series Season One. The art series will be focused on the work behind each artist's story while the TV Host dissects each artist's experience and amplify it through ARTalk. This is a full production series and selected artists will be co-starring with TV Host Eishamarie Rivera. This is a seasonal open call for artists from every country to be selected for an art series’ first season production. The main languages are English and Spanish– a translator may be available depending on the filming location. All styles and media are welcome. There are no educational requirements to apply to the open call. All submissions will be considered by our Creative Director- Lisa Fuentes and guest curators.

Art Preservation Institute - Impressions of Home

Show us your home town, the house you grew up in, a local park, the ole swimmin' hole or any other interesting place or activity that reflects your vision of home. Also include an artist statement of between 200-300 words about you as an artist. PH21 Gallery: Shape @ Barcelona – A Curated International Photography Exhibition

A PH21 Gallery Exhibition in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Shapes are one of the most important aspects of creative photographic compositions. Living beings and inanimate objects, including the built environment come in many forms, and photographers often rely on the creative possibilities offered by their shape. While in some cases the images of things only have a depictive function, at the other end of the spectrum abstract photography concentrates on shapes and forms for their own sake up to a point when we can no longer recognise the depicted objects themselves. Between being either insignificant or the only significant element, the shape of recognisable forms may also be the driving compositional component of an image. That is, the shape of living beings and objects may be of central importance to the composition of photographs not only in abstract photography but also in virtually all other photographic genres. These images capture our attention and stand out for their creative compositional form. PH21 Gallery invites photographers to submit their work for a group exhibition themed Shape. A curated international photography exhibition. November 17 – December 10, 2022. Time is a central concept in our lives, yet no one has ever seen it. It is the measure of our everyday life, but we rarely reflect on the fact that this fundamental organizer of our life is also a human creation. Throughout history, humankind has developed countless artifacts to perfect the measurement of time, documenting the cycles in nature, the change of the days and seasons. The changes of our own bodies as time is passing by also confront us with our own mortality. In urban spaces, clocks and bells help us track the passing of time, so that we don’t miss the train, our date, or we are not late from work. It is peculiar that when we are having a good time, we feel that it passes faster, while when we are bored or are having a bad time for some reason, it seems to be passing very slow. Depicting the passing of time in a still image has been a welcome challenge for photographers, as well as capturing a fleeting moment. A PH21 Gallery Exhibition in Rome, Italy. Photography is a medium of still images; it cannot create the illusion of motion the way in which moving images such as film, video or cartoons can. Yosemite Renaissance 38 - Juried Fine Art Competition and Exhibition

Yosemite Renaissance is a juried fine art competition and exhibition focused on the landscape, environment, wildlife and people of Yosemite National Park and the California Sierra Nevada. Both representational and non-representational submissions are accepted. Original artwork may be in any fine art medium including the following: painting (any medium); photography/digital; and other (all other two- and three-dimensional media, including drawings, pastels, printmaking, textiles, and all 3-dimensional works). Portrait Society of America - 25th Annual "The International" Portrait Competition

You are invited to enter the 25th annual "The International" portrait competition, showcasing the finest in portraiture and figurative art today. The International is the world's premier portrait competition and is open to all artists– members and non-members. A variety of mediums is welcomed and encouraged. The top twenty finalists are required to exhibit their selected original artwork and be present at the prestigious The Art of the Portrait conference in Washington, DC, May 11-14, 2023 for final judging and awards.
