For February. March and April we shall be exhibiting in France in three different cities. The boutique Art Salon fairs are taking place in Toulouse Feb 11 - 13 2023, Nantes 11-13 March and Strasbourg 31 March - 2 April 2023. Emerging and Established artists working within the fine arts, using mixed media, sculpture, paint on canvas, watercolour etc are welcome to submit their work for consideration. 3 Square Art - New Horizons: Landscapes 2023, 6th Annual Exhibition

Landscapes are one of the long-time subjects for artists taking in the beauty of their surroundings and representing what they see. But how has it changed in recent times? What new connections to our surroundings will be found or lost? The landscapes around us are dramatically changing as well as our relation to nature. Furthermore, will we see landscapes as mere replications or photographs or can we apply color, light, design and texture to represent the larger essence of what we see or experience. Just as impressionism, then cubism radically changed our perception of landscape art, what new interpretations are present today? We would like to see large as well as small formats. PH21 Gallery presents: Upside down – A Curated International Photography Exhibition

While photographs are valued for their depictive potential and representative content, the non-depictive, non-representational aspects of photographic works are also strongly related to their aesthetic significance. In this spirit, art photography has always aimed for the unity of form and content. Abstract photography has gone even further, celebrating abstract compositions for their own sake, without the need for appreciating or even recognising depictive content in the images. Turning a photograph upside down tends to strip it from its representative function, because the depicted scene and objects are difficult if not impossible to recognise when the image is turned to its side or upside down. However, the formal, compositional aspects of photographs become more pronounced that way, as our attention is steered away from scene and object recognition. In our Upside down exhibition, we would like to show photographs that are indeed turned upside down. Any photograph is eligible if the artist is willing to show it in this unusual way. Abstract photographs might be considered to be the most suitable candidates for this experimental exhibiting method, but there are many depictive works as well whose compositional qualities might also be appreciated in novel ways when turning them upside down, thus liberating us from studying and concentrating on their representational content. The theme is broadly construed, as this topic is independent of generic or stylistic constraints.

The Crary Art Gallery recognizes the importance for artists of having solo museum exhibitions. Idaho Falls Arts Council - 15th Annual National Juried Exhibition

The Idaho Falls National Exhibition is an annual juried exhibition by the Idaho Falls Arts Council and exhibited at the Willard Arts Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Japan Parade Art Contest 2023

Japan Day @ Central Park was an annual event held in Central Park since 2007 that promoted cultural exchanges between Japan and the U.S., expressed appreciation for New York City, and strengthened ties within the Japanese American Community. The event was reborn as the Japan Parade on May 14th, 2022, with over 2,400 participants in 85 units marching down Central Park West while a crowd of over 20,000 cheered them on. Our Art Contest began in 2012 as the Japan Day Art Contest, and it was likewise reinvented in 2022 as the first Japan Parade Art Contest. NYC4PA - THE SAME BUT DIFFERENT 2022

For this call NYC4PA is challenging photographers to pair two photographs and submit them in diptych format (both images in one file). The images in each file will be “almost” the same but different enough to make each unique. January PleinAir Salon $33,000 Online Art Competition

The PleinAir Salon $33,000 Art Competition is a monthly online competition consisting of 19 categories. We award over $33,000 each year for this competition. The Annual Grand Prize winner receives a check for $15,000 and is featured on the cover of PleinAir Magazine. We award an additional $6,500 to the annual winners and award $1,100 monthly to the top three winners of each competition as well as a People’s Choice Award. Each of the 23 monthly winners will be automatically entered into the Annual Competition. The annual awards are presented live at the Plein Air Convention & Expo each spring.
