| DEADLINE: March 06, 2023 PH21 Gallery presents: Urban – A Curated International Photography Exhibition Urban spaces have always been significant sources of inspiration for photographers for a very good reason; the dwelling places of much of humanity provide intensified experiences of how we shape our environment and how we live in the environment we create for ourselves.
Cities offer a bounty of visual stimuli for the eye and the camera to catch. The structural beauty of the still lines and shapes of the buildings and streets provide for exciting compositions. The ever-changing swirl of the streets challenges us to capture precious passing moments. Urban life shows an entirely different face during the day and with the lights on at night. Cities are usually busy with action, but recently we have experienced empty streets as well. There are endless ways of
portraying the life of the inhabitants of cities, endless ways for photographers to construct their unique interpretations of what urban environments mean for them. PH21 Gallery invites photographers to submit their work for a group exhibition themed Urban. We are looking for submissions from all photographers who are interested in this subject and would like to share their work with a wider international audience through the exposure of PH21 Gallery. The theme is broadly construed;urban
environments may be portrayed visually on personal or social levels, from cityscapes to street photography, from documentary works to abstract compositions as well. We are interested in all possible creative photographic interpretations. Website: https://www.ph21gallery.com Prospectus: https://www.ph21gallery.com/cfe-urban-23 |

It can also be deeply affecting. Uniquely used as both a tool and a subject to create certain effects and to elicit emotion. Light levels can directly influence our mood and the feeling of atmosphere within artwork. As light works with shadow, it lends a sense of depth; with this, the work can feel complete. We celebrate light
and all it can do in its role in art. Show us BRILLIANCE from your perspective. Website: http://www.art-fluent.com Prospectus: https://www.art-fluent.com/brilliance-prospectus |

| DEADLINE: April 03, 2023 PH21 Gallery presents: Silence – A Curated International Photography Exhibition Silence is always conceived against its opposites; sound, noise, loudness. Silence is strongly associated with loneliness and alienation, the unknown and disturbing landscape on the one hand, and the known tranquillity and peace on the other hand. Photographically, the contrast between deep darkness and dazzling
light is also decisive. After natural or social catastrophes, everything falls silent; empty cities, villages, abandoned public transport and empty workplaces remind us for the transience and fragility of humankind. Silence is accompanied by quiet activities such as contemplation and meditation, which negate the very nature of action itself. Silence is also often present in still life, cityscapes, portraits, and many other photographic genres. PH21 Gallery invites photographers to submit their
work for our group exhibition themed Silence. We are looking for submissions from all photographers who would like to share their silence experiences with a wider international audience through the exposure of PH21 Gallery. The theme is broadly construed without any photographic genre restrictions. Indeed, we are interested in all possible creative photographic interpretations of the theme.
