PH21 Gallery: Solo exhibition opportunity in Barcelona

PH21 Gallery invites photographers to submit their work for a solo exhibition opportunity in Barcelona. Please submit a cohesive portfolio suitable for a solo exhibition, along with an artist statement, and a short bio. The portfolio should include a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 35 images. Submission may feature one or two series, provided that the series can be harmoniously presented in a single exhibition. There are no stylistic, thematic, or genre restrictions; photographers working in all areas of photography are encourage to apply. The winner of this competition will be awarded a solo exhibition, scheduled to take place from March 7–31, 2026 in our new Barcelona venue. PH21 Gallery will cover all printing and installation expenses for the solo exhibition. In addition to the brick-and-mortar solo exhibition, the winner's work will also be presented on a dedicated page of our website. Up to 10 other photographers will have the opportunity to present a mini-series of three images from their portfolio in the "Photographic Visions" group exhibition. Photographic Visions is a biannual exhibition hosted by PH21 Gallery showcasing mini-series by selected artists who participated in the solo exhibition competition. Idaho Falls Arts Council & Willard Arts Center - 18th Annual National Juried Exhibition

The Idaho Falls National Exhibition is an annual juried exhibition by the Idaho Falls Arts Council and exhibited at the Willard Arts Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Provincetown Dune Shack Residencies

The Provincetown Compact announces the 2026 dune shack residency applications are now open. The Compact is pleased to offer residences for C-Scape and Fowler Dune Shacks in the Cape Cod National Seashore, available April through November for the general public with applications due January 15, 2025. thecompact.org/dune-shacks.html The Compact also offers three, 3-week artist and two writer residencies including a residency for an emerging artist of color, named for the late David Bethuel Jamieson, a Black artist who spent time in Provincetown and died of AIDS in 1992. The top recipient of this residency will receive three funded weeks in the C-Scape Dune Shack and a $500 fellowship. Another 3-week stay also includes a $500 fellowship. Artist residents are selected by a jury. An emerging artist of color is defined as one who has yet to receive a major exhibition or showcasing opportunities and has not had extensive media coverage for their work. Artists of all ages may apply. Writers may apply for one of two one-week residencies underwritten by The Compact, chosen by lottery. Two additional writers' weeks are also available in collaboration with the Fine Arts Work Center. The Compact also offers week stays to Helping Our Women, Provincetown Schools and the AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod. The Compact will continue to underwrite a week for a Native American in collaboration with the Native Land Conservancy (NLC) and continue its voluntary Honor Tax.

Montello Foundation - Solitary Retreat in the Nevada Desert

Montello Foundation is a foundation dedicated to support artists who foster our understanding of nature, its fragility and our need to protect it. The Montello Foundation provides a solitary retreat where artists can experience the vastness of a desert landscape from a safe building, a “base camp,” a unique space for inspiration and creation, a place that provides a shield from distractions in the solitude of the desert. A building designed with a large shading roof under which there are two distinct spaces: one space for the bodily needs: eating; sleeping; washing, and a stove for the cold desert nights, and a second space for work: for writing; painting; drawing; studying, a space for the first materializations of new ideas. There is no cost for this program. Artists must cover travel and living expenses.

A Smith Gallery | Online Photographic Call for Entry "Portraits"

Portraits : vignette, profile, figure, depiction, silhouette, image, portrayal, representation, likeness … Photographers of all levels are invited to submit work reflecting the theme "portraits" to A Smith Gallery by January 19, 2026.
