Nicolet College - 29th Annual Northern National Art Competition 2016

Join artists from across the country in this esteemed national juried competition. This event, featuring works in a variety of mediums, is a cooperative venture of the Northern Arts Council and the Nicolet College Art Gallery.

PRIZES & AWARDS :
More than $8,500 will be awarded including three $1,000 Awards of Excellence.

JUDGE / JUROR :
Artist Jeanine Coupe Ryding focuses primarily on woodcut prints, etchings, artist's books, drawing, and collage. She has been teaching at the Chicago Art Institute since 1991, and is the founder of Shadow Press and Press 928 in Evanston, Illinois for fine art printing and publishing. Her prints and artists books are displayed in major museum and private collections throughout the U.S., Europe, and Japan.

ELIGIBILITY:
The competition is open to all artists 18 years or older who are US residents. Each artist may submit images of recent, original, 2D hangable artwork in any medium including photography, fiber, and mixed media. There is no theme.
