Celeste Prize is an international contemporary arts prize which every year awards rewarding benefits to emerging and mid-career artists: http://www.celesteprize.com/celesteprize2016 /

Eligibility
Open to artists, photographers and creatives worldwide, without limits of age or experience. Works should contain an exciting and profound mix of contemporary perspectives and a creative use of artistic languages.

Entry Fee
50 € for a single work
90 € for a project (up to 10 works)
30 € for a single work (in Super-Young, under-26 years)

Photography & Digital Graphics Prize 4,000 €
Video & Animation Prize 4,000 €
Installation, Sculpture & Performance Prize 4,000 €
NEW Super-Young Prize 3,000 € (under-26 years)

The Jury
Ellen Blumenstein, director, KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin, is chief-curator of the prize and leads this year’s super-jury of international art critics and curators:
Juliana Bardolim, writer and art critic, Moscow
Marc Bembekoff, director, La Halle des bouchers, Vienne
Sandro Droschl, director, Künstlerhaus Graz, Austria
Chris Fitzpatrick, director of Kunstverein München, Munich
Martin Germann, senior curator, SMAK, Ghent
Felix Hoffmann, curator, C/O Berlin Foundation, Berlin
Chiara Ianeselli, independent curator, Italy
Marianna Liosi, curator, Italy
Zane Onckule, programme director, kim? Contemporary Art Centre, Riga
Barbara Piwowarska, independent curator, Warsaw
Alya Sebti, independent curator, Morocco
Moritz Wesseler, director, Kölnischen Kunstverein, Cologne

The 53 finalist artists themselves, chosen by the jury, will vote the prize money at the final exhibition in London.

Important Dates

Deadline for submissions- July 15, 2016
Final exhibition in London, The Bargehouse, OXO Tower Wharf, October 7-9.
