Call For Entries "Red 2" - 20 Artists Online Group Exhibition

Deadline: August 22, 2016 (Midnight EST)

Art-Competition.net is proud to announce the international art call "RED 2."

Twenty artists will be selected for a group exhibit entitled "RED 2" at G25N's online gallery. The exhibit and all selected artists will be extensively marketed. Participants must be a minimum 18 years of age. All still art mediums are welcome.

Theme: "Red 2"
The curators will be looking for artwork that reflects an artist's interpretation of a subject enhanced through the use of the color red. The application of red in the work has no required parameters---from a single red dot to a completely red image---the choice rests within the artist's eye. The color red implies many emotions and feelings; power, heat, love, sexuality, anger, joy, and war are but a few examples. Red can be used to draw the viewer closer emotionally in a way which enhances and emphasizes their reaction to the art. It may define intuitively an intended focal point that carries the viewer more deeply into the message. All submissions, which can be expressed from representational to abstract, are welcome. We look forward to receiving your works.
