Artist Residency Description: Artist Residency Description: Dacia Gallery is pleased to announce its Artist Residency Program for 2016, in the art capital of the world, New York City. The two-week painting intensive program will comprise of drawing and painting the figure from life, guest lecturers, a business of art course, gallery and museum visits. Additionally, Dacia Gallery will host a group exhibition of your artwork in Manhattan. The Art Studio is located in the heart of New York City among all the major galleries in the city, providing maximum exposure to today's contemporary art scene. Art walks will be taken throughout Chelsea and Lower East Side during opening receptions to explore today's contemporary art scene. Weekends will include visits to several of New York's esteemed art museums, such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art and the Frick Collection. Your time in New York is meant to be productive, illuminating, fun and memorable.

Invitation to Artists: Dacia Gallery invites artists to participate in this exciting Artist Residency Program in New York City. Dacia's Artist Residency provides an academic program to inspire, refine and redefine the creative direction of artists in a painting intensive two-week program. This is a wonderful opportunity to study and paint in NYC. If you are interested in participating registration is now open.

Who Should Attend: The Artist Residency Program is beneficial to all artists, from beginning students to advanced artists. The application is open to all visual artists, including all mediums and styles of work. We are seeking artists that want to dedicate their time to painting, learning the ins and outs of the New York art world and exploring all the wonderful opportunities that the city has to offer. Artists living in New York, national and international artists are invited to attend.
