Exhibition Juror: Mayumi Hamanaka: Communications and Gallery Director, Kala Art Institute. Awards for both 2D and 3D categories. $600 / $400 / $300. Exhibition: February 23 - March 17, 2017. The Gallery seeks artists working in both 2D and 3D print mediums, including but not limited to traditional and experimental printmaking processes and new 3D print technology. Printmaking processes in 2D works should be the dominant focus. The print medium should have significant application in sculptural works, such as transfer printing on ceramics. Photographic works are not eligible, with the exception of photo transfer onto sculpture. Artwork must be the artist's original concept, design and creation. Wall pieces may not exceed 50" width and 72" height. 3D works may not exceed 50" in any direction. Artists are responsible for all shipping and transit cost, including insurance, to and from the Gallery. The Gallery does not insure works during transit. Work to be received at the Gallery on February 13, 2017.

Fusion Art invites submissions for its first quarterly group online exhibition. The theme for the exhibition is Watercolor. For this competition, artists, worldwide, are encouraged to submit their best watercolor artwork. The competition is open to all artists working in water media. Photography is a medium of still images; it cannot create the illusion of motion the way in which moving images such as film, video or cartoons can. The static nature of the image itself, however, has never prevented photographers from putting motion in the centre of their endeavours. Instead of freezing the moment they often strive for capturing movement and the passing of time in a variety of ways. Motion is never a mere given in photography because it is not a default option of the medium. Depicting or expressing motion is a welcome challenge for photographers; it is also the source of some of the most creative images in diverse photographic genres. PH21 Gallery invites photographers to submit their work for a group exhibition themed Motion. We are looking for submissions from all photographers who are interested in this most intriguing topic and would like to share their work with a wider international audience through the exposure of PH21 Gallery. The Bradley International Print and Drawing Exhibition is the second-longest running juried print and drawing competition in the country. Every two years it features the best contemporary graphic artwork from around the globe. This year's exhibition will be held at four prominent Peoria Illinois Galleries, The Contemporary Art Center of Peoria, Studios on Sheridan, Prairie Center of the Arts, and Heuser Art Gallery at Bradley University. The 36th Bradley International will be juried by Kathryn Polk. Polk (born 1952) studied at the Memphis Art Academy and The University of Memphis. She lives and works in Tucson, Arizona where she is the co-owner of L VIS Press, a lithography print studio. Three cash awards will be selected by the Juror. Purchase awards will be made by the University. AWARDS: 1st Place – $3,000. 2nd Place – $1,750. 3rd Place- $750.

The exhibit runs May 13 - June 18. Ours is a truly unique gallery – a massive Civil War-era warehouse on the Red Hook waterfront in Brooklyn, NY. We will be using 8,000 square feet for this show, and look forward to exhibiting artist's work from all around the country, work in all sizes, and subjects, and media, (it's completely wide open). The broad theme of "Wide Open 8" encompasses all the possibilities of knowledge and freedom and love - wide open spaces…arms wide open…eyes wide open - but as with all things, there is the inevitable opposite - wide open to attack…corruption…failure. What kind of fantasy is this? What does it really indicate? The gallery provides artists the unique opportunity of exhibiting their artwork in the heart of Miami's Wynwood Art District, one of the global art world's most vibrant capitals and home to the Internationally acclaimed Miami Art Basel.Our mission is to represent and promote talented and emerging artists at every stage of their career. The first step in establishing an ongoing relationship with Art Fusion Galleries is the submission and review of your background, experience and artwork. Our art review committee reviews all portfolio submissions and acceptance is granted only to those whose work qualifies.Situated in the heart of Miami's Wynwood Art District, the 8,000 square foot Chelsea-style gallery showcases an international collection of original art from a spectacular array of talented artists. The gallery presently represents over 900 artists from around the globe; this scope of cultural artistic diversity is reflected in the galleries' vibrant, distinctive and provocative energy. The gallery features four dynamic exhibitions annually; each highlighting a display of contemporary colorful works of art. Dacia Gallery is pleased to offer an Artist Grant for 2017 with $2,000 in Cash Awards to the selected artists. This artist grant is intended to help artists financially to continue creating artwork. The artist grant comes with unrestricted funds that may be used as needed by the artists. Since its establishment in 2010 Dacia Gallery has been an avid partner with artists in the creative process of art and mounting museum quality exhibitions to present emerging and established artists. Dacia Gallery is also devoted to supporting arts education, by establishing workshops and artist residencies in both New York City and Romania. The artist residencies have been inspirational and transformative to over 200 artists that attended our educational programs.
