20 Artists Group Exhibit - Extensive marketing of the artists and exhibit worldwide valued at $5,125

Theme:
"Shades Of Green" - The curators are looking for art which focuses on a subject enhanced by the application of the color green. The extent of the green color applied to the composition is not a factor of consideration in the judging of each piece. It is rather how effectively this color engages the viewer to enter the artist's narrative. Colors communicate a broad spectrum of emotions and expressions as well as a diverse range of symbolisms: from sensations of a renewed life, glorious energy, or environmental concerns to darker forces such as envy, ambition, greed, or jealousy. For this particular art call our inspiration rests within the artist's creation as it captures a mood, relays a message, and inspires the viewer to interpret their artwork through various shades of the color green.

Twenty artists will be selected for an online group exhibit, "Shades of Green", at Gallery25N; the exhibit and the artists will be extensively marketed worldwide to over 24,100 people including art buyers, gallery owners, curators, collectors, etc.

Eligibility:
This competition is open to all artists/photographers 18 years of age or older. Submissions for consideration can be expressed in any of the following aspects: representational, expressionism, surrealism, or abstraction. Entries must be created in any still medium: painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, digital art, prints, fiber art, collage, installations.

  • Submission Deadline: June 5, 2017 (Midnight EST)
  • Curator Selection: June 12, 2017
  • Artists Notification: June 19, 2017
  • Exhibit Opens: July 7, 2017
