31st annual Northern National Art Competition - $8500 in Awards, DEADLINE 6/30/18

Call for entries: NNAC - No Theme $8500 in Awards

The Nicolet College Art Gallery is calling for entries for the 31st Annual Northern National Art Competition, a national juried art show held in northern Wisconsin. There is no theme. We are looking for a high quality contemporary exhibit showing work from coast to coast.

Open to artists 18 or older. Work can be in any medium as long as it may be hung on a wall. A non-refundable fee of $35 will entitle artists to submit one or two images.

Awards: Three $1000 Awards of Excellence, several $500 Special Merit Awards and many more smaller awards totaling $8,500.

This event, featuring works in a variety of mediums, is a cooperative venture of the Northern Arts Council and the Nicolet College Art Gallery.

Important Dates:

June 30: Registration deadline.

August 11: Acceptance notification.

September 14: Final due date for all accepted work. All shipped work must include a prepaid return label.

September 15: Optional hand delivery to Art Gallery: 10 am – 4 pm.

September 29: Opening Reception at Nicolet College Art Gallery: 5 pm.

November 9: Show closes. Work will be shipped back within ten days.

November 10: Pick up hand delivered work: 10 am – 4 pm.
