Marin MOCA's CALL FOR ENTRIES “Content Matters”

THEME: “Content” is the meaning conveyed by a piece of artwork – a message portrayed through images, symbols, marks, or stylistic treatment. Content communicates the artist’s point of view, their thoughts, beliefs and experiences, and it creates a response on the part of the viewer. 2D or 3D artwork will be accepted in any medium. We are interested in what you have to say through your artwork.

JUROR: This exhibit will be juried by well-known San Francisco gallerist Jack Fisher, who has been exhibiting artists for over 15 years. According to Mr. Fischer, "The work I exhibit is from the heart and the gut.”

SUBMIT EARLY: Open to the first 400 qualified entrants. All entrants must be U.S. resident artists 18 and over. You are invited to submit up to 5 digital images of your original artwork completed in the past five years, not previously shown in a MarinMOCA or Artists of MarinMOCA exhibit. Artists currently represented by the juror are ineligible for this call. This exhibit is open to all art media. Only online entries with digitally uploaded images will be accepted. Oversized artworks that do not have a waiver will not be juried.

Digital entries must be RECEIVED via online application on or before midnight PST, THURSDAY, April 18, 2019.
