SlowArt Productions presents Global Meltdown, thematic exhibition for concepts relating to the Global Pandemic and Environmental Meltdown.
Theme: We are living in an age of global crisis - of catastrophic MELTDOWN, an environmental, economic, medical, political, and social crisis the proportions of which, sadly, needs no description. Historically artists have foreseen, described and been inspired by crisis. The subject of this exhibition is every aspect of the GLOBAL MELTDOWN crisis. Entry is open to all artists working in any media
Eligibility: This call is open to all artists, national and international, working in all media. All forms of art are eligible. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Wall mounted works must not be taller than 96" no wider than 120". Sculptural work must fit through a 36" wide entry door.
Awards: Winning artists will be featured in a group exhibition at the Limner Gallery, September 9 - October 2, 2021. The exhibition will also be displayed on the Limner Gallery web site and social media pages. The online exhibition will continue through 2022 and will then be archived on the Limner Gallery web site. One artist from this exhibition will be awarded $500.
