Happy April from TheArtList!
“I must have flowers, always, and always.” - Claude Monet
It's April and Spring has sprung! It seems like the art world is starting to spring back into action a bit as we've seen the amount of art and photo calls being submitted to TheArtList.com growing steadily. It's awesome to see! Over the course of this past year, we've been proud to do what we can to help our amazing
community of art galleries and organizations get through the pandemic by offering our promotional packages at deeply discounted prices. We must let you know that those special prices won't last for much longer, however. But don't fret! We will be expanding our promotional package offerings to include choices for all kinds of budgets. So be on the lookout! In the meantime, if you are a gallery or organization that would like to take advantage of our current discounts to promote
your upcoming art contest or event, please visit: https://www.theartlist.com/submit. As always, we thank you all -- artists and galleries -- for supporting TheArtList.
Please note that we are only able to showcase a small number of calls in the monthly newsletter, so be sure to check our new website www.theartlist.com. You can login to search for calls that match your interests.
Speaking of our Artist of the Month contests, we ask that entrants please remember to include a link to their website along with their submission. We cannot consider you for an award without one!
Do you follow us on any of our social media pages? We post new calls several times a week - and occasionally some of them have a very short submission window. If you aren't following us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, or Tumblr, you might be missing some calls!
Wishing you a fantastic and creative Spring!

DEADLINE May 03, 2021
PH21 Gallery - Call for Entries: Bodyscapes
A curated international photography exhibition. July 1 – July 24, 2021. The human body, in full or in part, is often in the focus of various photographic genres. From documentary, event and street photography to fashion photography and the nude, photographers have always found ways of constructing images in which the specific portrayal of the human body gains significance. This may be stemming from the rich layers of meanings determined and shaped by the specific socio-cultural context of
the image, the visual interaction of the human body with the surrounding physical space, or the intriguing compositional possibilities offered by the body itself. When focussing on the body, some photographers explore movements, study expressive gestures and postures, or concentrate on the beauty and details of the human anatomy. Some narrate whole life stories through the depiction of the human body. Others may offer stern visual criticism of our normative conceptions of the human body and its
mainstream representation in Western media. PH21 Gallery invites photographers to submit their work for a group exhibition themed Bodyscapes. We are looking for submissions from all photographers who are interested in this subject, and who would like to share their work with a wider international audience through the exposure of PH21 Gallery. The theme is broadly construed without any photographic genre restrictions. Indeed, we are interested in all possible creative photographic interpretations
of the theme.
