From the perspective of the founder of Eco Arts Awards, the meaning of ecology wants to be enlarged in the twenty first century to have more focus on how human beings, as stewards of the planet, are behaving toward one another as well as toward our environment, as both are interrelated. You might call it a more integral approach to the theme, so this truly opens the meaning and the theme to be very inclusive of many topics.
