ASCE Bridges Photo Contest

How do bridges inspire you? Tell us with your submission to the second annual ASCE Bridges Photo Contest, now through March 31, 2014. We are looking for striking photographs of bridges, taken in the U.S. or abroad, that highlight the design and engineering achievements of civil engineers.

Cash prizes will be awarded to first and second place winners in each of the categories below, for a total of 14 winning images:

  • All Bridges
  • Small Town/City Bridges (in towns with populations less than 100,000)
  • New Bridges (opened between January 1, 2012 and December 31, 2013).
  • High Dynamic Range (HDR) Images
  • Pedestrian Bridges
  • Engineering Firms (images created as works-for-hire)
  • ASCE Student Members

In addition, up to 20 photographs will be selected as finalists for the Viewers' Choice Award, which will be voted on by the general public.

Contestants may enter up to five photos, as long as each photo is entered in only one category.
