Juried Photography Contest and Show

The
Images from a Glass Eye, International Juried Photography Show,
2014 is sponsored by the Tehama County Photo Club of Red Bluff,
California. The show is scheduled for August 8 through October 17,
2014, with an opening reception and announcement of awards on August 8,
2014.

Exhibition:
Images will be exhibited in the Tehama Country Visitor Center Gallery
located at 250 Antelope Blvd, Red Bluff, California, the “Gateway to
Lassen National Park.” The show will also be hosted on our website, http://www.imagesfromaglasseye.org/.
Eligibility:
Any photographer 18 or older may enter the show. With an open theme,
images may be captured either digitally or on film. Works must be
captured and post-processed solely by the entrant (except for film
developing and printing). Works accepted for prior “Images from a Glass
Eye” shows are not eligible.
Entry Fees:
$33 for the first three images and $8 for each additional image. All
entry fees will be charged to your credit card and are non-refundable.
There is no limit on the number of images you can enter.

Juror: Our
Juror is Ibarionex Perello, renowned photographer, writer and
host/producer of The Candid Frame photography podcast. He has been
involved in the photographic industry for over 25 years and has
authored five books on photography including Chasing the Light:
Improving Your Photography Using Available Light and Portraits of
Strangers. His articles and photographs have appeared in numerous
publications including Outdoor Photographer, Digital Photo Pro,
Rangefinder, Kelby’s Light It and Shutterbug magazine. He is an
instructor at BetterPhoto as well as an adjunct professor at the Art
Center College of Design. He has been producing The Candid Frame for
the past 8 years, which features conversations with the world’s best
emerging and established photographers including Jay Maisel, Mary Ellen
Mark, Elliot Erwitt, Dan Winters, Joel Meyerowitz and many others.
