"Open" Call for Entries - Deadline December 15, 2014

The art that is created today is how this time period will be viewed tomorrow. We want to make a difference in the lives of artists as well as a positive change in the world.

We are an online art gallery that can offer different benefits than a physical art gallery. Such as international exposure, works will be archived and able to be viewed over and over giving you constant exposure, building traffic to your website, no cost in transporting artwork, no risk of your work being damaged, and we are commission free!

Theme
"OPEN" As one year closes and a new one begins, it opens all of us up to new possibilities, hopes, and dreams. Therefore, we want to give artists an opportunity to show their best 2D work in any medium and style without barriers.

Pay It Forward
We will be donating 10% of all entry fees from this show to Feed the Children to help ensure a better life for them. Feed The Children exists to end childhood hunger. Eligibility
All artists 18 and over may enter. Media- 2D works in all types of media.

Judging Criteria
Originality, interpretation, quality, demonstration of ability, and usage of medium.

Juror
Janelle Cogan

Entry Fee
$20 for 1 or 2 pieces (You may enter more than once if you have additional works.)

Awards
Cash prizes will be given. Additionally, the "Best of Show" winner will be featured. His or her artwork will be on the cover of the show and it will be largely displayed with an article about them and their work. Other winners will be featured and have similar recognition. All accepted works will be displayed with the artist name, title of work, and a link back to their website, or email address if they do not have a website.

Sales
All sales are conducted solely between the artist and the buyer. Colors of Humanity Art Gallery does not handle any part of the sale or collect any commission.

Important Dates
Deadline to submit work - December 15, 2014

Winners will be notified- by December 22, 2014

Opening date for show - January 1, 2015

Show closes and is archived - January 31, 2015
