Group Exhibition in the gallery hotel at the Teufelhof Basel: “Lettered Art“
Call for artists - Deadline: May 31st, 2015

For the upcoming exhibition (august 2015 – summer 2016) the theme of the exhibition will be “lettered art”.

For this exhibition we are calling for artists that would like to show their “lettered art” in the gallery hotel. For this we launch the following call for artists:
  • We are looking for artists that want to exhibit their art at the Gallery Hotel from august 2015 to summer 2016.
  • Those artwork will be shown in the whole space of the Gallery Hotel, which are as well as 24 hotel rooms and the hotel corridors.
  • We are looking for art work, that integrate handwriting, lettering, alphabet, letters and writing elements in a broader sence. Or concentrate on the umbrella term of “lettered art”. Basically all materials are allowed.
  • The artwork has to be designed/ created in order to be able to hang it on a wall
  • The artwork may not cause any emission, that affect the residential quality
  • Basically all works are for sale for all Teufelhof guests.
  • Artists can apply with a maximum of 8 works

  • CV
  • Homepage
  • Pictures of maximum 8 artworks with information on size, year of origin, title and price
We will not choose more than 20 artists for the group exhibition. We will choose all artwork upon following criteria:
