animals, with birds recently becoming a common theme. She is now retired from her Medical Laboratory career and can be found in her home studio; painting and creating collages when she isn’t enjoying reading, yoga, gardening or walking her dog.
Viewer's Choice Winner
Congratulations to Viewer's Choice Winner - Jacqueline Martin with 264 audience votes! Jacqueline has recently rediscovered her passion for art. She says: "My artwork has evolved and taken on a much more spiritual connection with life. I have learned so much throughout the years about life and how not every beautiful thing in existence can be seen with just our eyes. My imagination has taken me higher and
deeper into my mind and heart. My paintings are clips of the spiritual concepts and dreams that flow into my consciousness from I receive from Source itself. My paintings are crafted with the sincere and deliberate intention that they give the viewer a deep sense of peace that we all seek, along with a feeling of familiarity and inner knowing that connects them to image they’re viewing within the painting."

November 5 – 24, 2015. Urban spaces have always been significant sources of inspiration
for photographers for a very good reason; the dwelling places of much of humanity provide intensified experiences of how we shape our environment and how we live in the environment we create for ourselves. Cities offer a bounty of visual stimuli for the eye and the camera to catch. The structural beauty of the still lines and shapes of the buildings and streets provide for exciting compositions. The ever-changing swirl of the streets challenges us to capture precious passing moments. Cities show
an entirely different face during the day and with the lights on at night. There are endless ways of portraying the life of the inhabitants of cities, endless ways for photographers to construct their unique interpretations of what cities mean for them. PH21 Gallery invites photographers to submit their work for a group exhibition themed City + Life. We are looking for submissions from all photographers who are interested in this most intriguing subject, and who would like to share their work
with a wider international audience through the exposure of PH21 Gallery. The theme is broadly construed; cities may be portrayed visually on personal or social levels, from cityscapes to street photography, from documentary works to abstract compositions as well. We are interested in all possible creative photographic interpretations of the theme.
