Call for Entry - Deadline: February 15th, 2016
About
The Beverly Hills artSHOW features 240 artists from all over the country working in many media. All artists at the artSHOW are selling their work and each artist is available to talk to artSHOW guests throughout the weekend.
The Beverly Hills artSHOW takes places across four linear blocks of historic Beverly Gardens Park in the heart of Beverly Hills, running along Santa Monica Boulevard from Rodeo Drive to Rexford Drive.
The artSHOW attracts over 40,000 art lovers from the affluent west side of Los Angeles and adjacent areas, along with regional art dealers, many Beverly Hills hotel guests, and even out-of-state patrons who come to town specifically for this event.
Additionally, the show is seeking artists who specialize in portraits of males, females, or both; for our special feature, "Men and Women: gender in art."
We require from any artist applicant the following 4 items:
- 8 photos of your artwork in a specific category - The 11 categories are: painting | watercolor | traditional printmaking and/or drawing | photography | digitally-generated/manipulated art | 2-D mixed media | 3-D mixed media | sculpture | ceramics | glass | jewelry
- 1 photo or drawing of your display at the show. Bear in mind that your space will be a minimum of 10 feet deep by 12.5 feet wide, on a flat lawn area, so bear this in mind when photographing, drawing or otherwise creating your display image. You may request a larger space when you fill out the form, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Entry Fee
$35.00 application fee before early deadline of February 15th - it goes up to $55.00 application from February 16th through February 21st. If accepted, a $350.00 acceptance fee.
