Artist Residency Description: Dacia Gallery is pleased to announce its Artist Residency Program for 2016, in the art capital of the world, New York City. The two-week painting intensive program will comprise of drawing and painting the figure from life, plein air painting on location in New York City, guest lecturers, a business of art course, gallery and museum visits. Additionally, Dacia Gallery will host a group exhibition of your artwork in the hottest area for the arts today, the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Your time in New York is meant to be productive, illuminating, fun and memorable.

Invitation to Artists: Dacia Gallery invites artists to participate in this exciting Artist Residency Program in New York City. Dacia's Artist Residency provides an academic program to inspire, refine and redefine the creative direction of artists in a painting intensive two-week program. This is a wonderful opportunity to study and paint in NYC. If you are interested in participating registration is now open.

Who Should Attend: The Artist Residency Program is beneficial to all artists, from beginning students to advanced artists. The application is open to all visual artists, including all mediums and styles of work. We are seeking artists that want to dedicate their time to painting, learning the ins and outs of the New York art world and exploring all the wonderful opportunities that the city has to offer. Artists living in New York, national and international artists are invited to attend.
