Theme
"WATER" covers 71% of the Earth's surface and is vital for all known forms of life. 96.5% of the Earth's crust water is found in seas and oceans. Although the sea moderates the Earth's climate and has important roles in the water, carbon, and nitrogen cycles, it is often viewed for its beauty, power, and life. We would like to see your interpretation of water.
Pay It Forward
We will be donating 10% of all entry fees from this show to The Water Project. The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing sustainable water projects to communities in sub-Saharan Africa who suffer needlessly from a lack of access to clean water and proper sanitation. Eligibility
All
artists 18 and over may enter.
Media
2D works in all types of
media.
Judging Criteria
Originality, interpretation,
quality, demonstration of ability, and usage of medium.
Entry Fee
$20 for
1 or 2 pieces(You may enter more than once if you have additional works.)
Awards
Cash prizes will be given. Additionally, the "Best of Show" winner will be featured. His or her artwork will be on the cover of the show and it will be largely displayed with an article about them and their work. Other winners will be featured and have similar recognition. All accepted works will be displayed with the artist name, title of work, and a link back to their website, or email address if they do not have a website.
