October 2012 Artist of The Month?

This is a FREE Monthly Call where we showcase one talented artist or photographer. The Artist of The Month Call is open to *ALL* artists who have not previously been showcased on as Artist of the Month on TheArtList.com.

Grand Prize (winner selected by TheArtList Editors)
The selected artist  will be showcased as the October 2012 Featured Artist on TheArtList.com website, receive an Artist of the Month interview page, and be showcased on our Facebook cover image for the month of October. It is a fun and excellent opportunity to be seen by galleries, exhibition directors, collectors, and even other artists! 

Viewers Choice (artist who receives the most public votes)
The winning artist will be showcased on TheArtList's Facebook page wall. 

We are running the call on Facebook ONLY so please to pass this along to all of your friends and colleagues in the art world and encourage them to enter!

How to Enter:
1.  Go to go: http://www.facebook.com/TheArtList?v=app_254553244581393&rest=1
2.  Click the "Like" button next to TheArtList.com at the top center of the page.
3.  Upload an image of your art or photography through the contest submission form. Be sure to add your website or portfolio link and let us know why you would make a good Artist of the Month. We take both of these into consideration.
4. Important! - Be sure to include a link to your art or photo website in the entry form where indicated. Many artists seem to skip this step but it gives us an opportunity to see more of your work and get to know you better.  
5. Encourage other artists and photographers to submit.  
6. Share / Tell your friends and have them Vote on your work. The most votes wins the Viewer's Choice award.  

Please do not post your submissions on the wall or email as they will not be counted. You will need to use the contest submission form to enter.

The Deadline to submit is September 27th, 2012 and it is Free to enter.

We will be selecting the winners on September 28th. If you are selected as the Grand Prize winner, we will email you an interview survey to be filled out for your October AOM page. This will need to be completed by September 29th, 2012.
