Fine Art Photography Competition
Early Bird Deadline: April 14, 2013
The Grand Prix
International Fine Art Photography Competition is focused on
celebrating fine art photography, discovering new talent, and honoring
exceptional work. The renowned jury invites emerging and mid-career
fine art photographers from around the world (18 years and older) to
submit their finest work-- in color or black and white, using any
photographic process or style of camera.

- Didier Brousse (Curator and Director of the
Galerie Camera Obscura in Paris)
- Julie
Grahame (Publisher of aCurator Magazine, Former
Director of Retna Photo
Agency, and Representative of ClampArt Gallery in New York)
- Alexandre Percy (Director of the Acte2 Galerie
in Paris)
- David Travis (Author, Curator, and former
Chair of the Department of Photography, The Art Institute of Chicago)
- Hiroshi Watanabe (Photographer and Author)
CATEGORIES
Each photographer may submit up to 15 photographs total, in one or more
of the following seven categories
- People/Portraits
- Landscape/Seascape/Nature
- Cityscape/Architecture
- Street
Photography/Documentary
- Still
Life
- Abstract
- Experimental
Also,
please note that this competition focuses on fine art photography and
excludes commercial work such as advertising, wedding, or fashion
photography.
AWARDS,
RECOGNITION and EXPOSURE
- $35,000 in awards, including travel to Paris
for the exhibition and Grand Prix de la Découverte Awards Ceremony for
each of the seven category winners
- Finalists’
work exhibited in Paris (November
2013)
- Grand Prix
winners’ work published in aCurator
Magazine and blog (seen by curators throughout the world)
- Acceptance
into the prestigious collection of
the Bibliothèque Nationale de France
