Works exhibition and sale will feature pieces measuring 18 inches or
less in all directions, including the frame (if applicable). Artists
may submit up to 6 works for inclusion in the exhibit. Wall hung art
only will be accepted for this exhibit; no non-hanging art. All media
is acceptable with the exception of jewelry, film, video/new media. All
artwork must be original work, no reproductions or copies. All work is
for sale; price may not exceed $450. The goal of this exhibit is to
assemble small and affordable works that through their sale will
benefit the artist and the gallery. Small Works is timed to coincide
with the high visitation of Artsfest (September) and the holiday season

the 2nd Annual Artists Contest-Celebration - A juried exhibition
showcasing artists living in New Jersey, 18 years of age or older. All
works submitted should reflect the theme of Celebration (the expression
of joy upon achieving success, overcoming adversity, triumph or the
celebration of life in general). Two dimensional artworks in all media
are eligible for consideration. A total of $4,500.00 in prizes will be
awarded. The proceeds of all entry fees will be donated to Arts Guild
N.J. a non-profit arts center located in the downtown Arts District of

from October 12-14th, 2013, for ‘La Grande-Messe d’Art’ Black &
Blue, a new mega interactive artistic blow-out, happening during the
renowned Black & Blue Festival. Culturally, “La Grande-Messe”
basically means in French an “All Encompassing Extravaganza”, and 2013
is the first year debut edition of this major multi-media artistic and
mixed entertainment component of the Festival. The literal translation
of Grande-Messe is: High-Mass. This is to be a key novel special
activity tied to the signature and world-famous Black & Blue
Festival of the BBCM Foundation, which is a non-profit organization
that has a long history of organizing spectacular parties that raise
essential funds and provide other services that are contributed towards
a variety of community groups in the gay community and in the direct

juried art competition for the month of May 2013. The gallery would
like for all 2D artists (including photography) to send us your best
interpretation of the theme “Figurative” by depicting the human form or
human features. “Figurative” is considered to be figures, forms and
faces for inclusion into the gallery’s June 2013 online Group Art
Exhibition. We will accept art on this subject that is either
representational or abstract, but please, do not submit any erotic art.
Winners of the "Figurative" Art Exhibition will receive extensive

“TRUE COLORS 2”: International, Juried
Digital-Arts Show, Held Online and in Physical Gallery. DIGITAL ARTS:
CALIFORNIA invites digital artists and photographers from around the
world to submit images to "TRUE COLORS 2," an exhibit that will reprise
the exciting color of our original show. Bring on your palette: bright,
eye-grabbing colors or soft pastels; deep, mysterious shades or natural
earth tones; or perhaps psychedelic colors! Dazzle us with your expert
use of color and imagery. Any work whose creation or presentation
involves a digital process that enhances the work is eligible. Works
chosen as finalists for each show will be showcased in the artist's or
photographer's own solo online gallery. Artists and photographers may
choose to offer their work for sale online or to use their gallery
purely as a showcase for their work. A future physical show of top
award-winners will be held in Los Angeles, San Diego, or another
California art center. We do not take any fee or commission for works
sold online. We do outreach to art curators, collectors, and patrons,
inviting them to view our shows. We also, as a courtesy, do individual
publicity for all artists and photographers in the show who request us
to. Finalists are chosen by Virginia Christensen (a long-time editor of
art and photography books and founder of Design Press International)
and Glen Christensen (art director of Elektra Asylum Records, 20th
