"Featured
Artists" is a series of art books. We offer artists a new and
effective way of introducing their work to a considerable international
audience of art professionals. "Featured Artists" presents either two
or three dimensional media.
CRITERIA FOR PARTICIPATION
Artists are invited to submit material for selection so as to be
included in the book. Every nomination is based entirely on the merit
of the work submitted for selection. The applications are judged only
by visuals submitted to artist@modernartcom.com.
MATERIALS TO SUBMIT FOR SELECTION
Artists who wish to be included in the Featured
Artists book must send for selection:
4-5 artworks (JPEG in high resolution)
Details of the artworks such as name, year, size, media.
An essay or a critique up to 100 words.
EDITORIAL FEE
Any artist is free to submit his/her artwork for selection. Selected
artists will have to pay an editorial fee. This fee covers a standard
editorial cost for the creative layout, design per page and full
editing, such as offset print, packing, shipping, distribution.
The editorial fee can also be covered by corporations, galleries,
museums, sponsors, etc.
Participating artists will receive a complementary copy of the book and
will be able to purchase additional copies at a discount.

For more than one page, the artist gets another
page free of charge.
The editorial fee is requested after the artist has received a layout
of their artwork for the book and has accepted it.
Artists who participate in the book will receive one complimentary
copy. Any additional copies requested, can be purchased at shipping and
handling cost.
DISTRIBUTION
"Featured Artists" distribution is made internationally through large
book wholesalers and e-shops, including Amazon, Barnes and Noble,
Borders and more.
The book is
also distributed to over 1.200 top galleries, (you can

curators, art consultants in the U.S
and in Europe.
MEDIA ACCEPTED:
Painting, mixed media, decorative art, design, animation, caricature,
sketching, drawing, collage, fiber art, sculpture, pottery, digital
art, 3D art, photography, installations.
SPECIAL AWARDS
In the end of the editing progress, the jurors will select two of the
best artworks submitted in this edition and these artworks will be used
for the front and the back cover free of charge.
