LADYLIKE: Venus Envy 2011 - Call for Entries

Rouge Gallery - Center for Contemporary Art is proud to
announce that it is now accepting submissions for the 13th Annual Venus Envy Exhibition.
All female artists living in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi,
Alabama and Florida are eligible for inclusion.
Venus Envy is a
Missouri-based organization driven by women which
positively affects everyone by empowering women through the arts.
The 13th annual Venus Envy Baton Rouge
(VE2011BR) exhibition is a multi-media, juried showcase of visual art
by women living and creating in the Southeastern United States. The
exhibition will run April 12-28, 2011. The theme for VE11BR is
"Ladylike." Artists may interpret the theme however they see fit.
Application Requirements:
Artists wishing to submit work for VE2011BR must submit their work
prior to the submission deadline. Any submissions received (not
postmarked) after 6pm on March 11, 2011 will
be disqualified.
Important Dates:
Submission deadline: March 11, 2011, 6pm (received, not postmarked)
Notification: By March 18, 2011
Deadline for delivery of artwork: April 5, 2011, 6pm
April 12-28, 2011: Venus Envy Exhibition
Venus Envy Reception Baton Rouge: April 16, 2011
Pick-up of work: April 30 through May 11, 2011, noon - 6pm
Date of Abandonment: May 12, 2011
