Happy July  from TheArtList.com!

"Art is not a thing; it is a way. " ~ Elbert Hubbard

Happy 4th of July! It is hard to imagine that we are already halfway through the summer. What a great time of year for spending time with family & friends, taking a well needed vacation, kicking off your shoes and finding ways to stay cool. It is also a great time of year to explore and find creative inspirations or try something new.

In regards to TheArtList.com, there are no lazy days of summer around here! The art world definitely has more of a charge than last year and I am amazed at the number of submissions that are coming in and the number of new members actively using TheArtList.com to find opportunities to enter. Generally, we tend to see a slowing down of submissions and activity during the summer months particularly in July, however it seems to be different this year.  That said, let TheArtList.com help you out by keeping you up to date on the fabulous opportunities that are coming in this month from Art Festivals to Online Exhibitions.  There are lots of good summer and fall calls to check out.  Enjoy your summer!

**Note - For those of you that are new to TheArtList.com, our monthly newsletter only showcases a small sample of featured listings. We have lots more in the online database. If you are an older Free Member, Expired Premium Member, or even just a member of the free mailing list, we highly recommend upgrading to a Premium Membership. The cost is only $27/year and having the ability to login and search the art call database without the interruption of full page ads is well worth the small membership fee.
