Best of Nature

The Ordover Gallery invites amateur as well as professional photographers to submit nature photography. Landscape, wildlife, and nature-based abstract/impressionistic images will be considered. The judges are looking for images of nature without people. Traditional, digital, and alternative-process photographic works will be reviewed. Altered work will be considered, and a statement of how the image was altered must be included. The entry fee is $25 for the first three photos submitted. Each additional entry is $10, with a limit of 10 entries total. A substantial portion of entry fees will benefit the San Diego Natural History Museum. Submission and payment due by October 27. Digital submissions only. Entry fees are not refundable.

Grand Prize: $1,000

First Place: $500 Second Place: $250 Third Place: $150
Six Honorable Mentions: $100 each People's Choice Award: $100

Show dates: January 9, 2012 - March 17, 2012
Opening reception: January 21, 2012, 11AM - 2 PM
