32nd Annual Spring Photography Contest - Over $8,000 in Prizes

Call for Entries - Early Deadline: April 16; Final Deadline May 14, 2012

Co-sponsored by Photographer's Forum Magazine and SIGMA. Over $8,000 in cash and equipment awarded! Winners also exhibited at Brooks Institute's Gallery 27. Open to all amateur photographers worldwide. Entrants in the U.S. and Canada will receive two free issues of Photographer's Forum Magazine.  Enter online or mail in prints or slides. Early deadline April 16; final deadline May 14, 2012.

WINNERS

WINNING PHOTOS will be published in the November 2012 issue of Photographer's Forum Magazine and exhibited at Brooks Institute Gallery 27. All contest finalists will be published in the hardcover book Best of Photography 2012.

  • Early entry fee is $4.95 per photo entered
    (uploaded or postmarked on or before April 16, 2012).
  • Final entry fee is $5.95 per photo entered
    (all entries must be uploaded or postmarked on or before May 14, 2012).

  • Rights remain with photographer
  • Subject matter is open
  • Finalists notified by July 30, 2012
  • Winners notified by August 13, 2012

    ELIGIBILITY

    This contest is open to all amateur photographers in the United States, Canada, and around the world.

    FIRST PLACE GRAND PRIZES
    $2,000 cash award from Photographer's Forum
    PLUS Sigma 120-400 mm lens (MSRP $1,400)

    SECOND PLACE AWARDS
    $1,500 cash award from Photographer's Forum
    PLUS Sigma 8-16 mm lens (MSRP $1,100)

    THIRD PLACE AWARDS
    $1,000 cash award from Photographer's Forum
    PLUS Manfrotto 055XPROB Professional Aluminum tripod and 327RC2 Joystick head (MSRP $446)

    FOURTH PLACE AWARDS
    Five $125 cash awards

    100 HONORABLE MENTIONS
    All Honorable Mentions will be listed in the November 2012 issue of Photographer's Forum Magazine and will receive a gold embossed certificate of outstanding merit from Photographer's Forum.
