Magazine's "What do YOU Love?" Competition.
Awards:
Grand
Prize Winner will be included in American Artist's 75th
Anniversary Exhibition, held in 2013 at the Salmagundi Club, in New
York City. Grand Prize Winner will be featured in an article in
Watercolor magazine and also receive a

Jurors:
Competition
work will be reviewed by a jury of the top names in the watermedia
community, including:
MARY WHYTE
Mary Whyte is an artist, teacher, and author whose figurative paintings
have earned national recognition. Her portraits are included in
numerous corporate, private, and university collections, as well as in
the permanent collections of the Greenville County Museum of Art and
the Gibbes Museum of Art, both in South Carolina. Whyte is the author
of Alfreda's World, a compilation of her paintings
of the Gullah women
of Johns Island, as well as An Artist's Way of
Seeing and Watercolor
for the Serious Beginner. She is currently the subject of a
traveling
exhibition titled "Working South" that will be on view through July
2013.
JIM McFARLANE
Jim McFarlane is a world-renowned watercolorist and teacher. He is a
Signature Member and current President of the American Watercolor
Society. He is also a Signature Member of the Pennsylvania Watercolor
Society, the Philadelphia Watercolor Society, the National Society of
Painters of Casein and Acrylic and the Hudson Valley Art Association.
He is president emeritus of both the Philadelphia Water Color Society
and the Greater Norristown Art League.
JOHN A. PARKS
John A. Parks is an artist who is represented by 532 Gallery Thomas
Jaeckel in New York City. He is also a teacher at the School of Visual
Arts, in New York City, and is a frequent contributor to American
Artist, Drawing, and Watercolor magazines.
