The Color Project - Call for Submissions

Be part of a four part exhibition celebrating color! Sign up create a piece of artwork that relates and uses the color you choose. Send it back to us and be a part of a massive exhibition highlighting all the colors.

Project Overview
The idea behind the project is to see how an artist creates his or her own style of work using only a color as the theme. The artist is encouraged to create work that fits into their current body of work with the only stipulation being that it relates heavily to the color selected.

The end result will be an exhibition where we explore the relationship of color in the artists work, as well as the relationship that the color has to other works from artists around the world. We will also be making a four part book featuring each of the pieces that we get back and organized by the colors in which they were inspired.

The Book
We will be creating a four part book featuring each piece that is submitted and organized by the color that it represents. The book will be available in The Brooklyn Art Library!

Every piece submitted will be included in the book.
