Projekt30's June 2010 Exhibition

PROJEKT30'S JUNE 2010 EXHIBITION Projekt30 is an artist-run arts organization dedicated to promoting emerging artists. In addition to providing professional websites and web hosting for hundreds of fine artists, since 2003 we have conducted over 90 online juried exhibitions, featured the artwork of thousands of artists, and have facilitated the sale of thousands of artworks. Each year, Projekt30 receives roughly one tenth the number of visitors as the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. We are currently seeking submissions for our April 2010 Exhibition. The exhibition will include 30 artists; invitations will be sent to our potent and refined mailing list of galleries, collectors, and fellow artists. All Projekt30 exhibitions are publicly juried, meaning artwork submitted will be presented online prior to the exhibition so visitors may help select which artists will graduate to the final 30. Unlike other juried exhibitions, all participants receive exposure. Opens: June 1, 2010. Public Jury: May 15-29, 2010. Deadline: May 1, 2010. This year the competition includes 25 categories for Professional, non Professional and Students in both single image and series or portfolios genres. 450 awards given with top prizes of $1500-$5000 cash (based on category) and free round trip travel for the overall winners of the three sections and for the recipient of the Humanitarian Documentary Grant to attend award ceremony to be held in Madrid in November 2010 at the Circle of Fine Arts where the winners will receive The Pollux Award. RayMar Art's 4th Annual Online Fine Art Competition

$10,000 Grand Prize, $5,000 2nd Place Prize- Over $26,500 in total prizes! Each month of the competition, a professional artist juror selects and critiques 12 finalist paintings from the monthly entries. These finalists are announced by the 15th of the following month. At the end of the 12 months of the competition, a final artist judge will choose the 12 award winners from these 144 monthly finalists. Competition began August 1, 2009 and is currently in progress. The last day to enter for a particular month is the last day of that month. "Featured Artists" is a series of art books, which offers artists a new and effective way of introducing their work to a considerable international audience of art professionals. It is a daring attempt to feature several contemporary artists in an overview, a book which will be a resource for galleries, museums, artists, art collectors and dealers who constantly seek for new talents and trends in the art community. The Icon Prize

Read! Create! Win! You are invited to participate in an open competition to provide the book cover art for the republication of the widely-praised literary novel, The Unfastened Heart (Dutton/Penguin). The winner of this contest will be awarded The Icon Prize and will receive $1500 in award money, with his/her artwork to be featured on the cover of the new edition of the novel. Participants may enter for consideration paintings, graphic art, photographs, collage art and other visual media based on the novel by submitting a digital photograph in jpg or jpeg format. Each submission should include a brief statement about the section of the novel to which the art speaks. There is no entry fee.
