Strange Figurations - Call For Entries

SlowArt Productions presents the group thematic exhibition, Strange Figurations. The exhibition will be held at the Limner Gallery from September 1 - 25, 2010. This exhibition is open to all interpretations of the concept, Strange Figurations. Included are all forms of unique and unusual figurative art from the realist to the surreal and visionary. All artist interpretations of the theme "Strange Figurations" will be reviewed and considered.

ELIGIBILITY: STRANGE FIGURATIONS is open to all artists, national and international, working in any media. All forms of art are eligible. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. 96" maximum for wall hung work, 72" for free standing sculpture.

ENTRY FEE: There is a $35.00 entry fee for 1-4 images. If you wish to include more than 4, please include $5.00 for each additional. Details of artwork count as an additional image. Artists accepted to exhibit will not be charged additional fees of any kind. .

AWARDS:  One artist from Strange Figurations will be awarded a two page display in Direct Art Volume #18, Fall 2011 issue. Two artists will be awarded a single page display. SALE TERMS: All works in the show must be for sale. The gallery will take a 30 percent commission on all sales. Sale price is determined by artist.

DEADLINE: The final postmarked deadline is June 30, 2010.
